FOUNDATION
Evenly applying a full coverage base makeup will help your skin look smooth and even, and will combat shininess. Apply foundation as a primer before adding other makeup such as concealer, powder, and mascara.
CONCEALER
Using a concealer is a great way of masking dark circles, age spots, large pores, and other small blemishes visible on the skin. Consider using a cream concealer that has a thicker texture, less oil, and lasts longer than liquid concealers.
TRANSLUCENT POWDER
Translucent powder is useful for television, or really, any camera work. The powder absorbs oil and mattes the skin. It is best to use a large brush applicator for complete, even coverage.
LIPS
It is important to have a well-defined and well-executed lip. Use a lip brush to press the color onto the lips for an even and complete application. Consider nude lipstick for a chic, elegant, modern look.
EYELINER
Eyeliner frames the eyes on camera. Use a skinny brush to apply a thin layer of eyeliner very close to the eyelashes.
EYEBROWS
Use an eyebrow pencil to create a fuller brow. Brush direction matters! Brush from the bottom of the eyebrow and fill it upward so that the pencil strokes flow with the natural hair growth.
EYELIDS
Using three colors on the eyelids will make your eyes appear brighter and larger on-screen. You want to choose a neutral color, a darker shade, and a highlighter. For the best application, use a fluffy eyeshadow brush.
EYELASHES
False eyelashes are meant to enhance your eyes and add to your natural eyelashes. Select a natural lash for a fine, subtle appearance on camera
